COAS Gen Bajwa never approached his Indian counterpart: ISPR

Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor rejected the story carried by Indian newspaper Hindustan Times.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Thursday rejected the story carried by Indian newspaper Hindustan Times that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has approached his Indian counterpart and both had served together in Congo.
In a tweet, DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that the story is factually incorrect and COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa has neither approached his Indian counterpart nor had served with him in Congo.
