PML-N submits seven adjournment motions in NA

Slow pace of work on CPEC projects raises a question mark on the credibility of the government.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday has submitted seven adjournment motions in the National Assembly gas and power crisis and hike in medicine prices.
The former ruling party also submitted adjournment motions over increase in inflation and debt, slow pace of CPEC projects and awarding Mohmand Dam contract to favourite company in the parliament secretariat.
The adjournment motions were submitted by PML-N leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Asif, Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb and others.
The motion stated that power outages are being carried out in winter which is inflicting billions of rupees loss to the already crumbling economy.
The current situation of the loadshedding is failure of the inclumbent government, it added.
The second adjournment motion stated that the gas loadshedding is badly affecting common man and its negative effects are affecting every sector. “Gas loadshedding is proof of government’s mismanagement.”
Adjournment motion regarding debt stated that increase in country’s debt resulted in decrease in growth rate due to which the country’s debt have soared.
The motion further stated that the work on CPEC projects has slowed down that raises a question mark on the credibility of the government.
