Speaks up against materialism that has seemed to have seeped in our society.

(Web-Desk)- The free-spirited DAHDI KURRI Rabi Pirzada is known for her unconventional escapades be it riding a Ducati heavy bike in Lahore or posting pictures with her snakes.

The pop star has had her set of controversies too. Remember the tiff on twitter with Amreena Khan on sexual harassment or her bizarre post glorifying suicide.

Sexual harassment is a very serious, sad and a real issue in pakistan , but people like Meesha, shermeen and aisha gulailai is making a Micky out of it and eventually real young innocent girls will continue to suffer .this “Bold and the beautiful” Spree must be discouraged .

This time Rabi has come out with a positive “choti si baat” speaking-up against materialism that has seemed to have seeped in our society. Where these days everyone is seen wanting to show-off rather than being comfortable in their own skin.

The Singer made a statement on twitter by posting picture of hers attending a wedding ceremony. She can be seen elegantly wearing a traditional shalwar kameez .Pointing out that one doesn’t need to buy high end brands to look good. You can look drop-dead gorgeous in bargain outfits with affordable jewelry as well.

She goes on a notch further and gives a social message that with the extra cash in hand we can help those in need from the very little that we give up.
