Nine booked over female tourists' maltreatment in Murree

The case was registered in Murree police station.

MURREE (Dunya News) – At least nine suspects were booked for maltreating a female tourist in Murree.

The case was registered in Murree police station after Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident.

However; police has failed to arrest the nominated accused Nadeem.

Moreover, Murree administration while taking action imposed section-144 against agents mafia who will not be able to force tourists to stay in their hotels.

The agents will wear a uniform whereas a peace force will be formed for the security of tourists.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Murree asserted that the agents who will violate SOPs will be jailed.

A video of the incident went viral on social media that showed the hotel agent abusing the woman. The passers-by and traffic police officers intervened and stopped the agent from foul play.
