Pakistan wishes to see peace beyond borders: ISPR DG

Media has a very important role to project the true positivity of Pakistan
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday said that following internal stability, Pakistan wishes to see peace beyond borders especially Afghanistan.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor met with a group of Pakistan-based foreign media journalists and said he expects them to highlight improving peace and stability in Pakistan, which offers economic opportunities for foreign investors.
The ISPR DG briefed them about security situation and ongoing stability operations. Matters related to Pak-Afghan border and situation along Line of Control (LOC) were also discussed.
He said that security situation of Pakistan has largely improved through successful clearance operations and we are heading towards stability, adding that having restored peace Pakistan wishes to see peace beyond borders especially Afghanistan.
Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that international community sees Pakistan through their reporters based in Pakistan.
He also said that media has a very important role to project the true positivity of Pakistan.
