PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Polio virus on Thursday has been diagnosed in two more children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur District.

Provincial health department said that the patients included five-year-old girl and seven-year-old boy.

Earlier, National Health Ministry had revealed that 88 polio cases were reported across the country in last four years. 27 cases were surfaced in KP, 23 in Sindh, 15 in Balochistan, 3 in Punjab and 19 in tribal areas.

However, no case was reported in Islamabad and Azad Kashmir.

Expressing satisfaction over the health facilities, the ministry said that efforts are being taken to eliminate the disease from the country.
