ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday challenged the Leader of House Imran Khan that former would leave politics for ever if latter proves allegations pertaining to National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
He was addressing session of lower house of parliament here in Islamabad today.
Sharif further challenged Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to only disclose name of the witness who asked for NRO.
Shehbaz stated, “I curse NRO.”
Keeping verbal onslaught up, Sharif claimed that PM had awarded NRO to his ministers and zealots.
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president added that he had faced ‘fake and politically-motivated cases’ in the past and would continue to do so in the future.
Shehbaz credited Khawaja Asif for the $12 billion bailout package awarded to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) govt by Saudi Arabia. He regretted that notices are being served to Khawaja Asif.
