Additional SHO succumbs to injuries sustained during anti-encroachment drive

Police have lodged first investment report (FIR) against the land grabber group.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – In a hapless incident here in the Punjab’s capital today, an Additional Station House Officer (SHO) Waris Ali succumbed to injuries sustained during anti-encroachment drive in the vicinities of Data Darbar [sufi’s shrine].

Police have lodged first investment report (FIR) against the land grabber group.

As per details garnered, police and judge bailiff launched joint anti-encroachment drive against the land grabber groups in the vicinities of Data Darbar. As the operation expedited, the culprits assaulted police officials. During physical altercation, Ali suffered injuries on the chest.

Rescue officials immediately rushed Ali to nearby hospital where he succumbed to chest injuries.

Later, police lodged FIR and included sections of terrorism and murder in it.
