Bilawal said that PPP workers sacrificed for democracy in Karsaz attack.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday said that secret meetings of Prime Minister Imran Khan and chairman NAB are giving an impression of revengeful accountability of politicians while public is suffering from tsunami of inflation.

While talking to the media and party workers on the 11th anniversary of the Karsaz Tragedy, the PPP chairperson condemned the attitude of Shehbaz Sharif towards Bhutto family in the past and said that "I do not feel sympathy for him, however, his arrest creates insecurities among other parties".

Bilawal said that PPP workers sacrificed for democracy in Karsaz attack.

During my first National Assembly speech I had demanded probe into the incidents of terrorist attacks, he said.

Earlier, Chairperson PPP Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Asifa Bhutto, with a huge gathering of workers, visited Karsaz and laid a floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and also offered Fateha.

It is worth mentioning here that the Karsaz incident had occurred on October 18, 2007 when Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan after 9-year long self-exile.

Just few hours after landing, Bhutto’s homecoming rally was hit by twin blasts when her motorcade reached the Karsaz intersection on Shahrah-e-Faisal. Bhutto remained unharmed in the attack, but more than 130 including women and children died, and hundreds sustained injuries.
