PM Imran directs health minister to provide relief to locals in Thar

Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed grave concern on the situation in Thar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday while expressing grave concern on the situation in Thar, directed Federal Minister for Health to immediately visit the area and to provide immediate medical relief to the locals suffering from various deceases.
He said this in his meeting with PTI Sindh president Ameer Bhutto and Secretary General Haleem Adil Sheikh who called on him in Islamabad.
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Naeemul Haq, Iftikhar Durrani and PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad were also present in the meeting.
The prime minister while expressing confidence on party’s Sindh Chapter’s new president and secretary general directed them to continue implementation of party’s policies and manifesto across the province.
Imran Khan further expressed concern over the Thar situation and assured that his government would safeguard rights of people of Sindh.
The premier also asked them to organize PTI at union council level and make preparations for next local government elections.
