Cavalcade of CJP meets accident, two officials arrested
A committee has been formed to investigate about the accident which Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudharys squad faced and two officials have been arrested, reported Dunya News. The squad of CJ met an accident on Kashmir Highway near Golra Sharif when Justice Chaudhary was coming to Islamabad from Lahore. When a vehicle in cavalcade applied breaks on Golra Mor interchange, seven vehicles coming after it hit each other. Three injured were shifted to hospital. CJ inquired about the health of injured in Polyclinic Hospital. Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Hussain investigated from the traffic wardens present on the spot after the incident. Two ASI have been arrested.
