Mandore Express derails near Jaipur, five killed

At least five people were killed and 50 others injured when 15 bogies of Mandore Express derailed near Bassi in Rajasthan early Saturday in India, reported Dunya News. The mishap took place around at 1.30 a.m between Jhar and Jathwara station.Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the rescue operation is on and injured have been rushed to SMS hospital in Jaipur. Railways authorities said that passengers will be taken to Jaipur by road and a special train will carry them to Delhi from Rajasthan capital.Around six trains have been diverted after the mishap. Fifty injured, including a New Zealand national Ana Elizabeth, have been admitted to the nearby hospitals and new relief trains had left for the spot.
