Dust storm in Sindh, Balochistan disrupts flights

Dust storm has disrupted flights schedule badly at airports in Sindh and Balochistan.

The flight operations at the Karachi, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Turbat, Quetta, Gawadar, Panjgur and Moenjodaro have been badly affected by severe dust storm and airports have also been shut for all flights due to reduced visibility.The dust storm is heading towards Punjab now.The dust storm started in Karachi on Monday evening which also affected traffic on the roads due to low visibility.According to Met office the areas in the South and South-West of the country are in the sever grip of dust storm.At Karachi airport, several domestic and international flights have been cancelled while some planes in the air have been diverted to other destinations.The Met office said visibility in these affected areas is reduced to below 100 metres.
