Faisalabad: Judges protest against lawyers enters second day

The judges protest against lawyers manhandling of a judge continued on second day.

The lower courts judges in Faisalabad are observing strike against lawyers’ misbehave due to which the courts proceedings remained suspended.The judges gathered in the chamber of Senior Session Judge Rafaqat Ali and said that the work will not be resumed until a case is registered against Advocate Mohsin Nabeel who manhandled Civil Judge Ashar Ali.Advocate Mohsin Nabeel on Monday manhandled Civil Judge Azhar Ali on not granting a bail in a criminal case.On the other hand, Punjab Bar Council suspended Mohsin Nabeel’s membership and summoned him on March 22.Meanwhile, negotiations were held between the office bearers of District Bar Faisalabad and judges representatives but the judges refused to resume work until the case is registered against the lawyer who tortured the civil judge.
