Pakistan reopened Afghan border liaison centres: NATO

NATO said that Pakistan, once again, has opened liaison centres on Afghan border.

These communicating centres had been closed after NATO attacked Pakistani posts in Mohmand Agency on November 26.NATO representative, while briefing the media in Kabul, said that Pakistani security forces have returned to these communicating centres.According to Brigadier Gen Carsten Jacobsen, tension has reduced during present days.These communicating centres had been built up to exchange information and protect security forces on both sides. After martyrdom of 24 soldiers, Pakistan had recalled its staff from these centres, he said.He claimed that there is betterment in mutual ties after telephonic talk between ISAF Chief General Allen and Pakistani Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.He urged Pakistan to restore NATO supply line, for it is better for economy of Pakistan.
