Dera Bugti: 5 killed, 11injured in Chinese convoy attack

At least 5 people were killed and 11 others were wounded on Tuesday in attack on Chinese engineers.

At least five people, including three security personnel were killed and eleven others wounded in a remote controlled bomb attack on Chinese engineers in restive district Dera Bugti however guest engineers remained safe.According to official sources, the explosives were planted alongside the road which exploded with a big bang when vehicles of Chinese engineers were passing from the area.As a result, two vehicles were destroyed while five people including personnel of Bugti peace force were killed while a dozen other injured among most of them reported in critical condition.Sources said that the explosives were detonated through a remote controlled device and the vehicles of Chinese engineers were the main target.Police and personnel of FC rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast till filing of this report. However, police said Baloch militants might be behind this attack.
