The PPP workers staged protest in different cities across the country against the kidnapping of Salman Taseer’s son Shahbaz Taseer. The protesters demanded early recovery of Taseer. They termed Taseer’s kidnapping as a failure of the provincial government.Punjab Governor Latif Khosa alleged that the Punjab government was involved in the incident.While PPP leader Raja Riaz said that Molvi Shahbaz was visiting other province to teach peace lesson but he should implement it first in its own province. He stated that the provincial government had completely failed to maintain law and order in the province, therefore the CM should resign.
