Supreme Court has sought explanation from FIA over Atiqa Odho case.

Renowned artist and social activist Atiqa was allegedly found in possession of spirits but FIA didn’t take action against her. In an identical case, law took its course when contraband item was recovered from an airhostess.Supreme Court took notice of the issue and sought explanation from FIA, saying that law enforcers are following double standards regarding smuggling cases.FIA officials have been issued notices to explain their stance till June 8.
