Today is the completion of the 10-year exile accord signed between Nawaz Sharif and the then army chief and chief executive of the country General (r) Pervez Musharraf, Dunya News reported on Friday. It is pertinent to mention that Nawaz has been consistently denying having signed any deal with Musharraf, however the document received by Dunya News bear signs of the former. In this agreement, the Sharif Brothers agreed to live in exile for ten years besides no participation in countrys politics. Nawaz Sharif in this agreement said, I, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, accept the help by a personality for negotiation for the release from imprisonment in Pakistan. I am satisfied with this whole process of the negotiation. Ensuing the accord, Nawaz, along with his family, was exiled in December 2000. Today, the ten-year restriction on the Sharif family to stay away from both the country and its politics is over. Talking to DUnay News on the issue, PML-Q member Kamil Ali Agha wondered that why the PML-N does not accept the signing of the agreement. He said that Dunya TV deserved the Rs1million prize money for it has proved the authenticity of the said accord.
