Commonwealth scholarship program 2013 offers 30 scholarships

Commonwealth Scholarship Program 2013 has been rolled out.

The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination Pakistan has assigned the task of conducting the local GRE for higher studies to the National Testing Services (NTS) Test bases.U.K. will offer more than 30 scholarships in different field of studies. National Testing Services will be conducting the Local GRE-General test for induction of students.Test would be conducted on Sep 30 while last date for submission of application forms is Sep 12, 2012.Application forms and online deposit slips are available on NTS website www.nts.org.pk.Applications are invited for studding abroad in some various countries under the commonwealth General Scholarships Program for the year 2013. Scholarships are fully funded and final selection will be made by the donor country.NTS, test will nominate students, candidates to be selected for the CommonWealth Scholarships session 2013.All grants given through this program will include fully funded education. Countries offering the grant and scholarships are U.K, Canada, Brunei, New Zealand and Malaysia respectively.Candidate holding masters degree, or B.Sc Honors (4 Years of Study) from a HEC recognized University or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply. Students who are waiting for their results can’t apply in this session.Please bank deposit online Rs. 800/- (Eight Hundred, Non Refundable/ Non-Transferable) in the online branches of HBL, UBL, ABL or MCB.Interested candidates can apply to this scholarship program from Commonwealth countries by appearing into the NTS Local GRE test at their test centres.Government of Pakistan lays down the procedure of arranging of the Inter-Provincial Conference under the directions of the Prime Minister who will preside at the meetings.The Federal and Provincial Ministers and officials of the Divisions concerned and of the Provincial Governments are associated with the discussions of the Conference as and when considered necessary.On19th March 2007, recognizing the importance of Federal and provincial relationships to grow in ever greater harmony, the Government of Pakistan has created an independent Division. Now, the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination has become a full-fledged Ministry since 3rd November, 2008.Ministry of IPC has been selected as the secretariat of Inter Provincial Conference Implementation Commission of reference under 18th Amendment to the Constitution and Council of Common Interest (CCI) so for 64 meetings of Implementation Commission and one meeting of CCI has been organized.
