Hosts India won both singles on Sunday to complete a 5-0 sweep against Indonesia in Davis Cup Asia.

BANGALORE (AFP) - Somdev Devvarman defeated David Susanto 6-3, 6-1, before Yuki Bhambri brushed aside Wisnu Adi Nugroho 6-0, 6-1 in the inconsequential final day s matches which were reduced to best-of-three sets.

The emphatic win, which was sealed on Saturday when they took a 3-0 lead, extended India s unbeaten run against Indonesia in Davis Cup ties to 6-0 and ensured they remain in the zonal Group I next year.

Indonesia will have to defeat Taiwan in September to avoid being relegated to Group II.
