Citizens continue to suffer due to CNG owners strike

People of twin cities faced severe shortage of CNG on 19th day due to the strike.

 

ISLAMABAD: The gas stations are shut even though the CNG associations had not officially given a strike call. To make things worse, the unofficial strike is apparently for an indefinite period and no date has been announced as to when the closed gas stations will reopen.


Due to strike of CNG massive queues of vehicles were seen at a few company-operated gas stations in the city that were opened after three days weekly load shedding.


Suspension of CNG has disturbed the routine life of people from all social segments and resulted into loss of billion of rupees to the already deteriorating economy of the country.


The citizens faced immense difficulties to access their destinations and workplaces. The commuters, mostly on way to work, faced extreme difficulties in reaching their destinations.
