It demands 'Bhutto Award' for those who laid down their lives for democracy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A resolution declaring the death sentence awarded to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto illegal was passed by the National Assembly (NA) on Wednesday.
President Asif Ali Zardari filed the reference and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also endorsed it.
The resolution demanded the reversal of the verdict, declaring the late Bhutto a martyr.
The resolution stated the highest civil award should be awarded to Bhutto and 'Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Award' should be established for the political workers who sacrificed their lives for democracy.
