LAHORE (Dunya News) – Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced to grant plots to journalists.

Addressing a ceremony here on Sunday, he said the Punjab government under the RUDA (Ravi Urban Development Authority) project has planned to allot plots to journalists across Punjab.

Professional journalist, including cameraman, reporters, and photographers, from any media group; print or broadcast, are eligible. Under the scheme 2,300 plots of seven marlas and 1,000 plots of three marlas have been earmarked for the purpose.

He announced priority for senior journalists in award of plots.

The advertisement of this scheme will be published on Monday and eligible journalists can submit their applications till Jan 28.

The caretaker chief minister said the budgeting for this project would be done before Feb 8.

He said that being a journalist it was his first priority to work for the community and fulfill their demands.
