Membership of 60 lawyers was suspended for opposing the boycott following the arrest of lawyers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The membership of 60 lawyers was suspended today (Dec 13) for opposing the boycott following the arrest of lawyers, and attended the oath taking ceremony of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges.
The list - which included the barred lawyers such as Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar and Deputy AG Syed Tayyab Shah - was forwarded to the Pakistan Bar Council.
The association s Joint Secretary Waqar Ahmed Gondal issued the notification regarding the suspension of lawyers’ membership.
