One killed,12 injured in back to back explosions in Quetta

The explosion took place near Khezi Chowk in Quetta.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – A rescue official has been killed and at least twelve people including Dunya News reporter Ibrar Ahmed and cameraman Rehmat Ali were injured back to back blasts near Khezi Chowk in the provincial capital of Balochistan on Thursday night.

Ibrar Ahmed, whose legs were fractured in the incident, has been shifted to Trauma center civil hospital while Rehmat has been shifted to BMC.

As per details, gas cylinder blast happened first near Khaizi Chowk. When Dunya News team arrived for coverage then second blast took place. Sources said second blast occurred as a bomb was planted in a motorbike. 

Rescue teams have shifted the injured persons to civil hospital. Those in critical condition have been moved to Bolan Medical Complex (BMC).

Security personnel have cordoned off the blast site.
