MULTAN (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Tuesday apparently ignored the handshake request of Punjab Inspector General (IG) Amjad Javed Saleemi.

The handshake faux-pas occurred on the occasion of passing out parade at Police Training School Multan.

The Punjab IG presented a souvenir to the chief minister and extended his hand for a shake but Buzdar turned around and walked away.

Amjad Javed Saleemi also followed him with his hand in the same position and hoping to be greeted back.

When asked about the reason behind his apparent ignoring, Punjab CM told, “I am not yet trained but will learn eventually the discipline of police force.”

The simple-Chief Minister arrived in Toba Tek Singh from Multan with a 19-vehicle protocol. All the shops of the city were shut down on the occasion.
