According to facts and figures gained, this time imported ballot paper is being used. On the other side, each member of polling staff will get Rs8000 instead of Rs3000 which the members received in 2013. With this, expense on every voter will be around Rs198 which used to be only Rs58.

ECP previously spent Rs4 billion and 79 crore but now it will have to spend a large sum of Rs21 billion.

Amount to spend by National and Provincial assemblies candidates

The limit of money to be spent by National assembly candidate on election campaign has been set at Rs4 million while for the candidate of provincial assembly it is Rs2 million. Although ECP has set limitation on expenditure to be spent by the political candidates but reality is no one follows that limit. Even in this election, candidates spent more than specified limited prescribed by the commission.

Political parties have been claiming to act upon the standard limit of expenditure set by ECP in political rallies, but the fact is they and their members never followed that.
