Kashmiris love to have their customary Kashmiri Kulchay on their Dastar Khwaan

(Web Desk/Dunya News) Festival means partying, gatherings, pleasure, excitement and off course, the food. Food is the most essential aspect in celebrating a jubilant. The tempting aromas, enticing spices and alluring flavors aggrandizes the festivity of Eid.

Everywhere in the World, people celebrate their fairs and galas with their colorful appealing and delicious dishes. This culture is particularly more flourished in South Asia. South Asians  events are exclusively dazzled with their tempting and tantalizing fiery foods.

Every Eid, from Kashmir to Karachi, five star restaurants, dhabas, food courts, road side food stalls even the online food services, are thronged with the food loving and fond of eat out people.

On Eid, Dining tables are usually decorated with more traditional and hard to digest absolutely luscious food stuff. This includes Nihari, Biryani, Qorma, Kunna, Kabab, mutton Karahi, chargha and others. Along with these food items, Kashmiris love to have their customary ‘Kashmiri Kulchay’ on their Dastar Khwaan.

The history of Kashmiri Kulchay is dated back to one and a half century or more. It is an amalgam of flour, ghee and eggs and widely available at every home of Kashmir irrespective of economical status of the natives especially on Eid.

Locals in Muzaffarabad, not only delight themselves with these fluffy and delicious bread also present their loved ones as an Eid treat too.
This Kashmiri Kulcha is quite known as a widely exported - ready to eat food item, to other parts of the country also, abroad.
