Put Nawaz Sharif's children on ECL: Musharraf
The former President praised judges and called it a historic decision
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former President Pervez Musharraf has called the Panama verdict a historic decision and praised the bravery of judges to dismiss a sitting prime minister.
He demanded the court to put Nawaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Capt (retd) Safdar and PM’s children on Exit Control List (ECL) before the trial in accountability court. Musharraf hinted at the possibility that Maryam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz could escape from the country.
Musharraf has felicitated the opposition parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). He also embraced the members of joint investigation team (JIT) for their hard work in collecting ‘pure’ evidence against the Sharif family.
While discussing the Panama case verdict, Musharraf issued a video message where he maintained that Nawaz Sharif is no longer honest and truthful after the ruling of five-member bench. The ex-President recalled that he always pondered how Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif came into power after 2008. Today’s decision has proved that the divine justice always sides with truth, he stated.
