LAHORE (Dunya News)- Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday has reserved verdict regarding admissibility of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s plea seeking disqualification of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif.

During proceedings, Imran Khan’s counsel Babar Awan claimed that Shehbaz Sharif looked after his business affairs and held public office simultaneously.

“Shehbaz Sharif gave gifts worth Rs6 billion to Nawaz Sharif but did not attach money trail. Shehbaz Sharif did not show assets worth $34 million and used public office to influence matters of family’s sugar mills. In the light of aforementioned facts, order of removal of Shehbaz Sharif should be issued,” asserted Babar Awan.

Justice Shahid Karim reserved verdict on admissibility of plea after completion of Babar Awan’s arguments.
