Gas supply to Punjab CNG sector halted indefinitely
The gas that was earlier supplied to CNG stations would now be transferred to the industrial sector
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The officials of Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines Limited (SNGPL) has revealed that owing to the increase in domestic utility, the supply of gas to the CNG stations is not possible.
The officials also confirmed that the gas that was earlier supplied to CNG stations would now be transferred to the industrial sector.
The Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines Limited (SNGPL) has already shut down all the CNG stations throughout Punjab on January 8 and had to be opened on January 17. However, owing to the deficiency of gas, the CNG stations have been shut down indefinitely.
