ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has decided on Friday that parliamentary parties would be contacted over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s call to shut down the federal capital on November 2.

Sources privy to the government have reported that a three-member committee was formed for the purpose that included Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid, Federal Railways Minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Hasil Bakhsh Bizenjo.

The committee has been tasked with approaching different parliamentary parties for discussion over Tehreek-e-Insaf’s sit-in purportedly to be staged on November 2.

All the three members would make attempts to convince the political parties to stand united with the government against Imran Khan’s yet another alleged blow to democracy.
