Cement consumption witnesses record 19% surge in last 10 months
Cement consumption sees 19% surge in 10 months as development projects increase in the country
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The 10-month report of All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) revealed on Thursday that Cement sale saw a record 19% surge as countrywide development projects increase.
According to the report of APCMA, the consumption of cement in first ten months of the fiscal year has reached to 31.9 million tons that are 10% more than last year. The report says the sale of cement from July to April has seen 17% increase.
Meanwhile, the cement exports have seen 19% reduction and stand at mere 5 million tons.
