CDA officials protest against property dealers' corruption allegations

Not a single file is moved to higher-ups at CDA without bribing the staffers, complained brokers

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials have staged a demonstration outside the office against real estate agents’ protest, Dunya News reported Tuesday.

Dozens of property dealers had protested on Monday against alleged corrupt officials employed by the Capital Development Authority.



The brokers clashed with police after they entered executive block of the office. As soon as the protesters entered the executive block, police personnel baton charged them and shifted many to local police station.



The agents stated that not a single file is moved to higher-ups at CDA without bribing the staffers.

The protesting real estate agents had demanded National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take notice and launch action against corrupt officials of the Capital Development Authority.
