ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – While addressing the media on Friday, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman stated that he has called a meeting of the religious parties of the country on Saturday, reported Dunya News.

Fazl said that various religious leaders including Allama Sajid Mir, Siraj-ul-Haq, Sajid Naqvi, Maulana Ilyas Noorani have been invited to attend the meeting. While criticizing the Women’s Protection Bill passed from the Punjab Assembly, Fazl said that the law was made after explaining violence in a wrong context which has curtailed the men in the society, representing the head of the house as an enemy.

Fazl further added that he is against violence and the ignorant attitude existing in the society but the way in which Punjab Assembly explained things to make the anti-violence law is quite wrong.
