Former president fainted as he was sitting with family

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former president Pervez Musharraf has been shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at PNS Shifa hospital after his condition got critical, Dunya News reported.

Earlier, he was rushed to PNS Shifa hospital on Thursday after his health deteriorated.

According to details, Musharraf was at his home sitting with family when he fainted. He has been taken to PNS Shifa Hospital amid tight security.

Reportedly, a team of doctors are examining the former military dictator and he is being given the best treatment possible.

Musharraf, 72, has had health issues before as well. In 2014, he was taken to hospital for a heart condition the day he was due to appear in court.
