KARACHI (Dunya News) – Students of a government school situated in New Karachi reportedly have to cross sewage after entering the premises in order to get to their classes, Dunya News reported Thursday.

Students are facing the issue despite numerous complaints forwarded to the Education Department by the school administration.

The district administration is constructing third school in the boundary with this kind of situation persisting. Students of the two schools are suffering from different diseases owing to waste decaying in the premises.

Around 500 students are registered in morning and evening shifts each however, the attendance contradicts the fact.

Sources said that the locals have taken steps various times in the past to counter the issue but somehow it finds its way back. The people, this time want a permanent solution to the issue.
