Court orders FIR of PIA employees' deaths
Karachi's court ordered FIR of 2 employees' murders against Pervaiz Rashid, Mushahidullah, Zubair
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – A local court in Karachi has on Thursday ordered registering FIR against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leaders including Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Senator Mushahidullah Khan and Muhammad Zubair of 2 employees that were murdered during the protests of the PIA employees on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
District and Session Judge Malir Khalid Hussain Shahani heard the application by Joint Action Committee Chairman Suhail Baloch and expressed anger over not filing the FIR. He said that there was no legal status of the postmortem and other measures without the FIR. The judge said that situation wouldn’t have been as complicated as it is now, had the police taken action according to the law.
The court ordered recording the statement of the complainant and then registering the FIR.
On the other hand, Joint Action Committee Chairman Suhail Baloch and lawyers arrived at Airport Police Station to get the case of the murder of 2 employees registered.
