NAB ditched for billions by the fraudsters, no payment after initial 10% deposits

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Dunya News has received the list of the cases on Sunday, in which the defaulters have failed to complete plea bargain payments. No further payments done to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after initial ten percent deposits, reported Dunya News.

According to the NAB document, from 2008 to 2015, 51 people plea bargained for the amount of 11 billion and 4 hundred million rupees. Only one billion, eight hundred and eighty million rupees have been received from these fraudsters. NAB is yet to recieve the remaining amount of more than nine and a half billion rupees.

The plea bargain defaulters include Mudaraba scandal, Double Shah, Bankers City, Tawana Pakistan Program scandal, the suspects of Bank fraud, corrupt Patwaris and clerks.

When Dunya News contacted the NAB representative, he responded that operations are underway to collect the remaining payments of plea bargain.
