The federal minister said that the government would collaborate with private sector to achieve SDGs

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Development and Ahsan Iqbal on Friday has said that at least Rs 12 billion have been given to the provinces for Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

He put the figures out in an address at the inaugural ceremony of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the federal capital.

Iqbal said that development of social sector was neglected in the past but the government would not let that happen now. He said that the government single handedly could not achieve SDGs. Private sectors are being made part of the process, he added.

The federal minister said that the government would collaborate with private sector to achieve SDGs.
