Law Ministry forwards summary to appoint Anwar Zaheer Jamali as CJP
Chief Justice Jawad Idrees Khawaja is due to retire on September 9.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Law Ministry forwarded a summary to PM Nawaz for approval of President to appoint Anwar Zaheer Jamali as Chief Justice Supereme Court.
According to sources, Law Ministry has forwarded the proposal to PM Nawaz informing that Chief Justice Jawad Idrees Khawaja is due to retire on September 9. The proposal stated that after the retire of incumbent Chief Justice, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali is the senior most judge therefore he should be appointed as Chief Justice of Pakistan.
