Karachi: Security forces arrest two key militants in separate operations
The police also arrested at least six suspects in Chakiwara
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Security forces on late Thursday arrested as many as two banned outfits’ operatives in different operations in Quaidabad and Mawach Goth.
According to details, the forces conducted an operation in Gulshan Bonair of Quaidabad and apprehended a key militant. The sources said that the criminal was involved in several cases of target killings and blasts. Security personnel seized weapons and explosives from arrested criminals’ possession. Separately, the police carried out an operation in Mawach Gotha and arrested a terrorist. The police also arrested at least six suspects in Chakiwara.
In another incident in Jamshed Quarters, locals caught dacoit Salman and a woman accomplice and handed them over to police. The arrested dacoit said that financial circumstances left him with no other option. However, the woman said that she has been deceived.
The police seized weapons and mobile phones from the culprits’ possession.
