Myanmar ambassador should be ousted from Pakistan and OIC meeting should be called, says JI head

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) head Sirajul Haq has on Sunday said that the silence of the government of Pakistan over Rohingya issue is disappointing. He said that the government should oust Myanmar ambassador from the country at the earliest and requisite a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), reported Dunya News.

Addressing a protest rally in Islamabad at Jinnah Avenue for Rohingya Muslims, JI head said that OIC’s silence was disappointing. “Kids, women, old people and youth are being murdered in Myanmar under government patronage”, he said.

Sirajul Haq demanded that the government should requisite an OIC meeting in Islamabad so that the Islamic world can devise a proper policy.

Criticizing the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, JI head said that Indian PM made statements claiming breaking Pakistan into two halves but the international community is still quiet.
