Helmet sales surge as police ensure road safety in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The helmet sales in the metropolitan have surged after the Karachi Traffic Police imposed use of protection on motorcyclists, both drivers and the passengers.
The motorcyclists have flocked the shops in different markets to buy additional helmets for the passengers. According to the shopkeepers, the importers stop delivery on such occasions and hike the prices. The prices are likely to rise because of this.
On the other hand, the women passengers are puzzled over the new law.
However, the new law will come in action starting from June 1.
