Punjab government to buy 4 new bullet-proof cars
Purchase of these cars was refrained one year ago when issue was raised in media
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Despite all the claims of austerity, Punjab government has approved the bill to buy 4 new bullet-proof cars for government officials of Punjab. S&GAD department approved the bill after getting approval from Chief Minister Secretariat and made a high level committee to finalise the issues like prices and other basic things about the purchase of these cars.
A meeting was held in Punjab Civil Secretariat on Tuesday chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Syed Mubashar Raza. It was discussed the in the meeting that these 4 cars can be purchased now, as the purchase was refrained one year ago when the issue of costly cars was raised in media.
