The former chief was addressing workers convention at Multan

 MULTAN (Dunya News) – Former President General Pervez Musharraf said on Friday that Pakistan is facing threats internally and externally but the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League N-league (PML-N) are only interested in taking turn to rule the country, reported Dunya News.

Addressing the workers’ convention at Multan, former president General Pervez Musharraf said that the corrupt, incompetent politicians and their policies had brought Pakistan on the verge of being a failed state.

Pervez Musharraf said on the occasion that drastic reforms are needed to rectify the situation stressing that the country has no dearth of resources to counter the problem.

The former President said that he had propelled Pakistan onto road to success when he was in power and if given the mandate, will begin his political career once again with the aim of serving the interests of the masses.
