Pakistan successfully test-fires its very own armed drone 'Burraq'
ISPR says Burraq will prove to be a force multiplier in Pakistan's war against terrorism
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan on Friday successfully test fired its very own armed drone ‘Burraq’ and laser guided missile ‘Barq’, joining the list of countries owning sophisticated and state of the art military technology, Dunya News reported.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Burraq, the indigenously manufactured drone is technologically advanced and can hit both stationary and moving targets with ‘pin point accuracy’.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif joined scientists to witness the successful test. He congratulated the scientist for their tireless efforts in achieving the technology.
The ISPR says Burraq will prove to be a force multiplier in Pakistan’s war against terrorism.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated the nation upon the successful test-fire of armed drones. He said that the ability of armed drone is a key landmark for the country’s defense. He congratulated Pakistan army, engineers and scientists.
