Those who couldn't run a province, how would they run entire country, questioned interior minister

ATTOCK: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the people standing on the left and right of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan cannot bring revolution. “Those who couldn’t run a province, how would they run the country”, questioned Nisar.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a water supply project in Fateh Jang near Attock on Friday, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that the government was trying to bring the smiles of the people back on their faces.

He said that the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and the people of Pakistan were not only linked by the votes. He said that the relationship between the PML-N and the people was strong because PML-N served the people of Pakistan. He said that his party never believed in mere slogans. “We believe in serving the people”, he said. “Government is not oblivious of the problems but solving them will take some time. People should not lose hope”, he added.

Criticizing the PTI, Nisar said that it was a team of ‘turncoats’. He said that Imran Khan’s companions were with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at one time and with former president Pervez Musharraf at another. “They cannot bring revolution but can create problems”, he said.

PML-N stalwart said that the government could have filled its reserves but decided to pass the oil prices’ relief on to the people. He directed the water supply project to be completed within one year instead of two.
