CNG stations reopening in Punjab to provide relief to masses

CNG stations are reopening after CM Shahbaz took notice of petrol shortage in Punjab.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Amid prevailing fuel crisis, authorities have decided to reopen the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Punjab and Potohar Region to mitigate sufferings of the masses.

Chairman CNG Association Ghayas Paracha in a statement said the association has received instructions from the concerned authorities, Radio Pakistan reported.

Paracha said CNG stations in Potohar region are being reopened immediately to provide relief to the people.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of petrol shortage in the province and proposed to the federal government to allow reopening of CNG stations in view of the prevalent crisis.

The Chief Minister said until the petrol supply situation improves, the CNG stations should be allowed to reopen to facilitate the people, as the shortage of petroleum products is badly harming the normal life.
